Privacy Collection Statement

Richmond Group Financial Services Pty Ltd ACN 618 935 612 and Membo Finance Pty Ltd t/as Aurora Loans ACN 159 693 464 (together referred to as “Aurora Loans/we/us”) will collect, store and use personal information and credit information that you provide to us in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Collection Statement and our privacy policy. That policy also sets out how you can access or seek to correct your information, and complain about our privacy practices. You can gain access to the information held about you by contacting us.

‘Personal information’ means any details about you, from which your identity is apparent or can be uncovered. The kinds of personal information we may collect about you include your name, date of birth, address, account details, occupation and any other information we made need to identify you. 'Credit information' includes information such as the type and amount of credit provided to you, your repayment history information, default information, overdue payments and any court information. 'Credit information' also includes credit reporting information supplied to us by a credit reporting body (CRB), and any information that we derive from it.

We will collect, use, store and disclose personal information and credit information about you for the purposes of providing you with credit and managing that credit, assessing your eligibility to be a guarantor, and direct marketing of products and other related purposes. You have the right to request not to receive direct marketing material by advising us at any time. Your information will be held by us and some of our third-party service providers so that we can provide the services to you.

We are required to collect some personal information by law (including the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006). If you do not provide us with the personal information and credit information we request, we may be unable to provide you with a loan, or may be unable to assess your eligibility to act as guarantor for someone who has applied for a loan.

By consenting to this Privacy Collection Statement, you agree to us:

1. where you are the borrower—obtaining a report about your commercial activities or commercial credit worthiness for the purpose of assessing your application from any business which provides information about the commercial credit worthiness of persons;
2. where you are the borrower—giving to and obtaining from any credit provider named in your credit application or in a credit report on you issued by a credit reporting agency, information about your credit arrangements for the purposes of:
   1. assessing your application for credit;
   2. notifying a default by you;
   3. allowing another credit provider to ascertain the status of your finance arrangements with us where you are in default with one or more other credit providers; and
   4. generally assessing your credit worthiness;
3. where you are the borrower—disclosing information to a person you have nominated to act as guarantor; and
4. where you are the guarantor—obtaining a report about your creditworthiness from a credit reporting body for the purpose of assessing whether to accept you as a guarantor.

You acknowledge and agree that the information referred to above can include any information about your personal and/or commercial credit worthiness, credit standing, credit history or credit capacity which the Privacy Act allows credit providers to give to or receive from each other;

By consenting to this Privacy Collection Statement, you also agree that we, and any of our affiliates and/or service providers (including any of our overseas affiliates and/or service providers) operating on our behalf can do any of the following at any time:

• Credit information: Collect, hold, use and disclose credit-related information about you to assess an application for consumer credit and manage that consumer credit.
• Personal information: Collect, hold, use and disclose personal and credit information about you. This includes disclosure to third parties such as our service providers, affiliates, credit reporting bodies, debt collectors, contractors (including any of our overseas associates who may assist us in providing our products and services to you) and people considering acquiring or taking an interest in our business or assets.
• Exchanging information with credit reporting bodies: We may exchange your personal information and credit-related information with the credit reporting bodies listed in our privacy policy (eg.equifax.com.au). This includes obtaining a credit report for the purpose of assessing your application or your eligibility to act as a guarantor and managing the credit provided. Information we provide may include advice that payments are no longer overdue; that in our opinion you have committed a serious credit infringement (in specified circumstances only); be used in a credit report about you which the credit reporting body provides to other organisations (such as other lenders) to help them assess your creditworthiness. The details of the credit reporting bodies that we use, and how you can contact those credit reporting bodies is set out in our privacy policy.
• Customer identification: Disclose personal information about you to an organisation, including credit reporting bodies, for the purpose of verifying your identity against the information held on your credit file (including online verification). If we use these methods and are unable to verify your identity in this way we will let you know. We may also use information about your Australian Passport, state or territory driver licence, Medicare card, citizenship certificate, birth certificate and any other identification documents to match those details with the relevant registries using third party systems and record the results of that matching. Should you not agree to have your identity verified by these means, please contact us so that we can discuss other options with you.
• Overseas disclosure: Disclose your personal information and credit-related information to overseas entities located overseas in New Zealand, The United Kingdom or the USA. Overseas entities may be required to disclose information to relevant foreign authorities under a foreign law. More information on how overseas entities may disclose your information may be found in the entities' privacy policies.
• Storage and security: Store your personal information and credit-related information in cloud or other types of networked or electronic storage and will take reasonable steps to ensure its security. However, it is not always practicable to find out where your information may be accessed or held, as electronic or networked storage can be accessed from various countries via an internet connection.
• Cookies, pixels, click redirects and tag containers: Use cookies, pixels, click redirects and tag containers to collect information about your browser usage which in certain circumstances may be sufficient to reasonably identify you and/or constitute sensitive information.
